I appreciate the fact that they will stand by what the studies show and will not give antibiotics just because. I am thankful to find an office that will take time to make sure that all of my questions are answered, doctors that will take time to find evidence based solutions and will make sure that I am fully informed of what to expect. Yu has seen all of my girls (3mo old, 8yr, 9yr, and 11yr old) and we love her. Its nice to have a doctor, or any service provider for that matter, that makes you feel comfortable.ĭr. Im so happy with our service today and hope this is what we have to look forward to at our future visits. She seemed genuinely kind and was very informative and great with our baby. Meadows and she was really great too - very patient with all of my questions and I loved that she used her laptop to look into some of my concerns on the spot. Our baby was smiling within minutes after his immunizations. Just beware parents!įirst visit here and I loved it! The nurse was SO wonderful - kind, informative, great demeanor, excellent interaction with our 6-month old, and even made the immunizations as easy as possible. They shouldve just told me from the beginning! OMG. Second email, they told me that the doctors are not accepting any patients older than 5 y.o. I replied okay and to get my daughter any other doctor whos available. Next, they sent me an email, said that the doctor I prefer is not accepting patients. I did that, then the staff called me about my insurance and they seemed okay. I asked if I can make an appointment immediately for my daughter and she said I cant until I registered by E-MAIL or FAX. So, in search of a new one, firstly I dropped by the office and asked the lady in the front office if the doctors still accepting new patients and she said yes. So disappointing! Our "old" pediatrician is not in-network anymore with my insurance.
Im willing to give this place a chance but if I dont get a prompt response I will be changing office due to their lack of help. Morgan stated we do not do meet and greets even though I wasnt even requesting that I got with my insurance in regards to my concern about being told I basically have to choose one Doctor they stated I am not required to have same pcp now all I can do is wait for a call back from Morgan to see wether or not she can set up an appointment with my Doctor of preference. I was also told that I have to have the same pcp for both my children I informed Morgan I would see after my visit wether or not I would like to keep the Doctor. I did as they requested and sent in the New patient application I informed Morgan on my concern with my child needing to be seen if not today tomorrow she still didnt set up an appointment even though I had confirmed they received my application very disappointing. I tried to set up an appointment as a new patient and Morgan did not try to help me what so ever. So again, in all, Id definitely recommend Blue Fish Pediatrics. They also have a patient portal that is really helpful with keeping track of appointments and medical records. The medical assistant that gave my son his vaccines was awesome! He was so fast and efficient. The doctor was very thorough and gave me a lot of helpful and useful information. The office was clean and neat (even considering this is, after all, a pediatricians office). UPDATE: Overall Id still give this office 5 stars. Hopefully it ends up being as great of an experience as it has been so far! Thank you Morgan and Allie!
BLUEFISH PEDIATRICS CYPRESS UPDATE
I will update my review after my sons appointment. They are very quick to reply when you contact them and they have very accommodating availability. Allie was very polite and courteous on the phone while helping me make an appointment (a quality that, being in health care myself, I highly appreciate).
I havent even taken my son to his first appointment here yet, and this office already deserves 5 stars! Morgan has made the new patient application process so easy and simple I am really looking forward to my sons first visit.
